Although it is critical to local and national economies, most of India's farmers face chronic economic issues and are unable to escape poverty traps.
A blood donation camp was organized by us. All the preparations such as arrangement of beds, sanitation etc were made. A team of doctors and nurses from the local Govt hospital had reached in time.
Install a new borewell to provide clean drinking water in rural villages. This bore well has been dug for safe drinking water to the community.
Members joined in large numbers at Rajodi beach. We work to enhance the overall cleanliness of the city's beaches and contribute towards mitigation of marine pollution and conservation of the marine eco-system.
The Lion member first took initiative in digging for planting trees. The volunteers planted desi trees like Neem, Pimple, Banyan Tree, Tamradus Indica etc.
Suffering from flood, so under this project, Basic need, Dry grains, blanket, medicines etc. to the people. And resolve its problems and completed the survey of flood-affected region.
Check dams have been reported to be useful for soil and water conservation, flood mitigation, groundwater recharge and land development. We took this initiative for rural development.
The Lions Club of Agashi held its Art & Sports Carnival at Agashi. The wonderful weather contributed to a day that was once again full of spirit, colour, athleticism and comradery.
To ensure that school children’s education is not hampered due to lack of educational materials. This small initiation of us encourages the children to read and write, improving their education.
We donate raincoats to the underprivileged school children. Children have to miss their school due to lack of raincoat or umbrella.
